ISLAMABAD:
Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) congratulated the nation and Ittehad Tanzimat-e-Madaris, the umbrella organization of religious seminaries, on the notification of the Societies Registration (Amendment) Act, 2024, stating that their efforts had borne fruit. The party has also reiterated its determination not to compromise the autonomy of religious schools.
In a statement issued on Sunday, JUI-F spokesperson Aslam Ghauri expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for the success and congratulated the nation, party workers and leaders of Ittehad Tanzimat-e-Madaris.
“Allah has honored us with this success and our struggle has borne fruit. JUI-F will continue to play its role in protecting religious schools, which are the bastions of Islam and the guardians of Pakistan’s ideological boundaries,” he said. .
The spokesperson said the unity of religious scholars was crucial for the protection of religious institutions and pledged to thwart any conspiracy against madrassas. He reaffirmed that the autonomy of the madrassas was not negotiable.
