Karachi:
The College Education Department of Sindh has temporarily deployed 20 teachers in the historic Hyderabad Kali Mori College government to resume academic activities after a long couple.
Most of the assigned teachers, including associated professors, assistant professors and professors, are currently published in several government universities in Karachi. However, under the policy of “letting work”, they will now begin to teach in Kali Mori College. Due to the lack of a dedicated sanctioned fund (SNE), teachers will continue to receive salaries from their matrices institutions.
Kali Mori College received university status almost a decade ago when he marked his centenary. After its update, the University section was discontinued and its SNE was redistributed to other universities. However, this year, the University resumed admissions, marking a significant step to restore its academic legacy.
The Director General’s universities confirmed that approximately 800 students have been admitted in several faculties at the University for the current academic year.
The measure aims to revive the academic spirit of the centennial institution and ensure that enrolled students have access to qualified teaching staff.
