The attack of the terrorists closes the path of Thall-Parachinar

Di Khan:

After the tragic murder of seven people by unidentified terrorists in the Kurram district, the main road of Thall-Parachinar has been closed by all types of traffic by the authorities.

The announcement was made through a press release issued by Anjuman Hussainia Parachinar. The statement said that as a result of yesterday’s incident, the entire movement has been suspended along the Thall -Parachinar route. The press release also advised travelers to avoid unnecessary trips at the moment and have extreme caution.

It can be remembered that in August, the Earth’s access to the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Khyberram District was finally restored after a nine-month suspension. The main road, closed in October 2023 due to sectarian violence, was partially reopened under strict security protocols, offering some relief to paratroaist residents.

The closure was imposed after attacks on vehicles that transport subsequent pilgrims and incidents that intensified tensions in the region. As a result, the authorities had sealed the Central Highway, which led to a serious shortage of essential goods and extended to hundreds of students and residents in other cities.

In an effort to mitigate the crisis during the blockade, the government launched a limited helicopter service, which was insufficient to meet the needs of the population.

From the reopening, from 20 to 22 passenger vehicles they arrived daily to Parachinar.

Government sources said the situation has improved after the December Peace Agreement of 2024 and subsequent successful tribal jirgas.

On Wednesday, at least seven people died when the unidentified gunmen attacked a passenger vehicle at Bajo Kurram.
