- Fans have suspected for a long time that something is wrong in Earth-2, also known as the parallel world, Chris Smith continues to visit
Pacifier Fans are convinced that their latest episode falls the biggest track so far that there is something really in a new important theory about the second season of the DC Universe television show (DCU).
Complete spoilers follow immediately to Pacifier Season 2 Episode 3. Return now if you haven’t seen it yet.
The third chapter of this season, entitled ‘Another Rick Up My Sleeve’, sees the homonymous antihero, the real name Chris Smith, actively explores the parallel world, called Earth-2 by the cast and show team. He discovered for the first time. Pacifier The premiere of season 2.
On the surface, there is much to like about the alternative universe that describes twice as the “best dimension in history.” His father and his brother not only are still alive in this reality, but also part of a celebrated group of superheroes (together with the pacifier of this world) called Top Trio. There is also a more emotionally available version of Emilia Harcourt in this dimension. Ah, and the pacifier that was part of this universe, you know, before the Smith of the DCU would accidentally kill him, he has a two -wheel vehicle incredibly great and armed called the peace cycle.
However, since Smith ran into this parallel dimension in episode 1 of season 2, fans have had their suspicions that something is not right with the apparently idyllic Earth-2. And, thanks to the introduction of a group known as the children of freedom in episode 3, many are more convinced than ever that their wild fans theory on Earth-2 will be demonstrated correct.
So what is your hypothesis? That Earth-2 is a substitute for Earth-X. In DC Comics, Earth-X is a parallel land, which existed before the comic series ‘crisis on Infinite Earths’ of 1985/86 that essentially restarted the DC comics universe, where Nazi Germany won the Second World War.
There is also evidence that suggests that Earth-2 is the reinvention of the Earth-X DCU, the main test is that all those that exist in this parallel dimension are white. Don’t you believe me? Return and look ‘another Rick Up My Sleeve’ and see if you can detect any character, main, history or other, which are black, Asians or a member of another ethnic minority career.
Nor am I the only one who has noticed the absence of people from ethnically diverse origins. Just look at the threads that have arisen in the pages of DC Cinematic and Dculeaks Reddit, as well as in the Remote, which are full of fans who say it.
“It’s fine, but what does this have to do with the children of freedom?” I hear you ask.
For not initiated: in DC Comics, the children of freedom are an ultra nationalist paramilitary organization that encourages hatred and intolerance. In terms of lay people, they are fascists who use violence.
Initially in ‘Another Rick Up My Manga’, it seems that the children of freedom have adapted as authentically as possible to Pacifier Season 2. In fact, in the middle of episode 3, they carry out a mission to infiltrate a building in the center of Evergreen, take people as hostages in that building and establish a bomb with the aim of causing the greatest amount of death and destruction possible. Unfortunately for them, the Smith of the DCU kills them all, deactivates the explosive and increases the flattery of the gathered crowd.
However, the Earth-2 fans theory turns the script of Liberty’s children as bad. If the Earth-2 is Take on Earth-X of the television series of chapter one of DCU, which would position them as fighters of altruistic freedom fighting for a better and more diverse world. I can already see the look on the face of the DCU Smith if (and potentially when) learn that Earth-2 is the home of a predominantly white supremacist human race; Remember, his father had similar opinions in the DCU before his death, so this would not sit well with the Smith that we know at some point in the second season of HBO Max Show.
As with any fans theory, it is possible that many of us will launch the wrong tree. But, with the co-chair of DCU, James Gunn, suggesting that there are many surprises in season 2, especially his last three episodes, I would not be surprised if it is revealed that Earth-2 is Earth-X in anything but name.
But what do you think? Does this theory have any weight? Or is it a bad direction to get us out of the aroma before a completely different revelation? Answer me in the comments.
