The anniversary of the birth of the prophet Muhammad (Pbuh) will be observed today (Saturday) with great religious zeal and reverence throughout the country, including Karachi.
Mosques, streets, buildings and intersections throughout the city have been beautifully decorated with colorful illuminations, green flags and images of the green dome of the Masjid-E-Nabvi.
Particularly the area of the ancient city with steep communities in the traditional celebration of the event, the air resonates with Durood-O-Salaam. People compete in decorating lanes and houses. The free food and drink distribution (Sherbet) will extend around Burns Road, Ma Jinnah Road, Karadar, Lyari, Liaquatabad and other similar areas.

People will deliver to Briyani, Qforma with Naan, the neighbors. Milad’s meetings in the neighborhoods of the ancient city will see girls and women who leave at their best to recite na’ats in the speakers.
The highest point of the day remains the main rally. People expresses devotion to the Holy Prophet (PBUH) in their own particular style. Some will mount horses and camels with Arab dresses, while a float of young girls with fairy dresses that recites Na’at will also be an outstanding feature.
The police have finished security agreements for the 12th Rabi-Uwwal processions and meetings, deploying 4,480 officers and personnel throughout the city.

According to a police spokesman, 1,882 personnel will be parked in the southern zone, 811 in the east, 449 in Nishtar Park and 553 at the entrance points of the city.
The police chief instructed that all procession routes should remain under strict surveillance, and the Traffic Police guarantees a soft flow of vehicles. Security agreements will also be monitored through CCTV surveillance.
Through Karachi, religious meetings, recitals Na`at, Seerat-unabi and processions and processions will be organized. The celebrations will begin early in the morning with collective sentences, recitation of greetings about the prophet (PBUH) and the supplications for peace and prosperity.
According to Allama Syed Shah Abdul Haq Qadri, Ameer de Jamaat Ahl-E-Sunnat Karachi, the central procession will leave the new Memon mosque in Bolton Market after Zuhr’s prayers. Allama Shah Abdul Haq has appealed to the participants to cooperate completely with volunteers and officials responsible for enforcing the law, adhere to the schedule, use designated entry points in Ma Jinnah Road and quickly report any article or person suspicious to the authorities.

The camps have also been established along Ma Jinnah Road and other central places by Jamaat Ahl-E-Sunnat, Sunni Tehreek, Tehreek-E-Labbaik and other religious organizations to facilitate processions and demonstrations participants.
Throughout the city, food and offerings will be distributed, while the mosques will organize night meetings for Na`at, Milad, Qasida Burda Sharif and collective recitation sessions of Hardood Shareef.
Strict security measures for central procession and related events have been implemented.
