Nadra accountant that will be established in all union councils: Karachi Mayor

Karachi: Mayor Murtaza Wahab announced Friday that Nadra’s counters would be established in all union councils to improve public access to registration services.

Speaking at the inauguration of the renewed Nadra registration center in the Landhi Babar market, Wahab said that a feasibility plan would also be immediately prepared for the construction of a Nadra center in the Kakri land in Lyari.

He added that the mega centers were in development in Gulshan-E-Iqbal, Gulberg and Armejani Town.

The Landhi Center, opened by Wahab together with Nadra Sindh’s general director, Amir Ali Khan, has become a modern installation with improved services.

The number of accountants of a window has increased from four to seven to acceleration applications, the capacity of the seats has been extended to 120 and separate baths for men and women have been built. The facilities also include wheelchair access for disabled applicants and safe drinking water.

DG Nadra Sindh Amir said that the renewal of five centers in Karachi had already been completed as part of the improvement of 21 centers throughout the city.

He recognized the initial difficulties that citizens face with the new Nadra mobile application, but emphasized that it would provide reliable long -term services once it was completely operational.
