In 60th Defense, Martyrs’ Day, CJCSC, the service leaders honor the nation’s heroes, their families

On the 60th of the defense and the martyrs, the armed forces of Pakistan greeted the eternal courage of the heroes of the nation, paying tribute to the martyrs and honor the families whose sacrifice remains the basis of the country’s defense.

Those who led the tribute included the Syed Mariscal Also Munir, Ni (M), HJ, Chief of Army Personnel; General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, Ni, Ni (M), President of the Joint Committee of Personnel Heads (CJCSC); Admiral Naveed Ashraf, Ni, Ni (M), Head of Naval Personnel; and the head of the air chief Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, nor (m), HJ, head of the air staff.

“On September 6, 1965, it personifies the unwavering resolution and the unwavering spirit of the Pakistani nation.

“On this historic day, our brave soldiers, with the support of the nation, stopped as an insurmountable wall against flagrant aggression, frustrating the dire designs of a much higher enemy in arms and numbers.

“The feats of Heroic value and sacrifice left an indelible message in the sands of time: that a united nation can never be defeated,” said a statement issued by public relations between services (ISPR).

The wing of the military media, in his message on this auspicious day, said that the courage of the brave heroes of the Nation continues to inspire future generations, and his legacy will live forever, according to the statement.

“Today, the nation honors and greets its martyrs, their ghazis and their resistant families that have offered incomparable sacrifices for the security of this great country.

“In addition to being resolved against external aggression and terrorism, the Armed Forces have always supported the people of Pakistan in calamities and natural disasters as well.”

The Armed Forces also expressed the resolution to extend the total support for the victims of the flood in progress in Pakistan and celebrate the day with the greatest humility.

“Today, we reaffirm our promise to defend the sacred responsibility that the nation entrusted to us.”

He said that the country’s sentinels always remain attentive and prepare to defend the country against all kinds of threats, and any attempt to interrupt our peace gained with so much effort will encounter a decisive and appropriate response.

“That Allah Almighty continues to bless Pakistan with peace, stability and strength. Armed Forces of Pakistan Zindabad, Pakistan Hamesha Paindabad,” the statement concluded.
