Sydney Sweeney collects the role of boxing champion Christy Martin, so he is expected to get, in his words, a “crazy black eye” during filming.
While the biographical film of the boxing drama premieres at the Toronto Film Festival, the actress remembers the exhausting filming experience, particularly boxing scenes.
“I was hitting,” he adds. “They were holding ice packages on my face among the shots. It was being beaten.”
The star continues: “I had some twisted bruises after that.” Meanwhile, his “crazy black eye” was the result of recreating a famous combination between Christy Martin and Laila Ali in the film.
The movie boxing sequences, which would be a pleasure to see, required a lot of work behind the scene to film.
For example, Sydney reveals that he filmed those scenes “once consecutive in a single week. He would wrap after a 12 -hour session, and then train another two hours. All that week was exhausting.”
In addition to her last film, the actress is under fire for a denim jeans advertising campaign since its launch.
However, Madame Web’s star closed the questions about the controversy and doubled to promote Christy.
“I’m there to support my movie and the people involved in doing so,” he says Vanity Fair. “I’m not there to talk about jeans. The movie is about Christy [Martin]And that is what I will be there to talk. “
Christy It will arrive at theaters on November 7.
