President Donald Trump arrived at the Arthur Ashe stadium in New York City for the final of the US Open Singles on Sunday between Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz.
It is Trump’s first visit to the Grand Slam tennis tournament since before entering the White House. He was seen at the event in September 2015, months after announcing his career for president the first time. And it is a good time to be a fan of sport.

Sinner and Alcaraz have established themselves as the two main stars in the times after Rafer and Rafael Nadal. Novak Djokovic has shown that he could still win Grand Slam titles too, but has not won from the 2023 United States Open. He reached the semifinals in each Grand Slam tournament this season.
Although, according to the reports, the open emitters of the United States were ordered to avoid showing interruptions in the crowd about the presence of Trump, Alcaraz welcomed the possibility of seeing Trump in the crowd.

“I think it is a privilege for tournaments that have the president of all countries only to support the tournament, support tennis and support the game,” he said, through The Guardian. “For me, playing in front of him … I will try not to think about that.
“I don’t want it to be nervous about that, but I think attending the tennis party is great for tennis to have the president in the final.”

Trump is scheduled to be in the corporate suite at the stadium.
