
A total spectacular lunar eclipse, widely known as “Blood Moon”, Illuminated skies in Pakistan on the night of September 7, 2025, with the space investigation commission and the upper atmosphere of Pakistan (Supparco) capturing surprising images of Quetta.
The celestial event began when the moon brightness began to fade at 8:28 pm (PST). The partial eclipse began at 9:27 pm, followed by the total total eclipse at 10:31 pm

At its peak at 11:12 pm, the moon shone in red tones before the total phase ended at 11:53 pm. The partial eclipse continued until 12:57 am, completely concluding at 1:55 am on September 8.
The phenomenon was also visible in much of the world, including Europe, Asia, Australia and Africa.
The observers in Europe and Africa witnessed a partial eclipse during the laughter of the moon, while the spectators in the Americas lost the show completely.
