Kazakh DPM Murat Nurtleu arrives in Pakistan on a two -day visit


The Vice Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan, Murat Nurtleu, arrived in Islamabad on an official two -day visit to Pakistan on Monday, Radio Pakistan reported.

He was received at the airport by the additional secretary (Western Asia) at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Syed Ali Asad Gillani, along with other senior officials. Nurtleu is accompanied by a delegation of thirteen members.

This important visit is ahead of the scheduled visit of Kazakhstan’s president to Pakistan in November. On the margin, the meetings of the joint work groups on agriculture and will also take place.

During its stay, the Kazakh DPM will celebrate a Tête-à-Tête with the Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, Ishaq Dar, followed by conversations at the delegation level. It is also expected to call President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

The discussions will provide the opportunity to review the preparations for the next presidential visit and to deliberate exhaustively especially the spectrum of bilateral cooperation Pak -Kazakh. The agenda will focus particularly on trade and investment, agriculture, education, cultural and tourist exchanges, regional connectivity and logistics, as well as collaboration in multilateral forums.

The visit is expected to keep Pakistan’s relationships –kazakhstan long and deepens the bilateral commitments in various fields for the mutual benefit of the people of both countries.
