Two male Lacrosse players from Marquette Golden Eagles were killed in a car accident on Friday night near the university’s main campus in Milwaukee, authorities said.
The victims were identified as Noah Snyder and Scott Michaud.

“Please keep the parents, brothers and families of Noah and Scott, and the Athletics and University of Marquette communities in their prayers,” said Marquette president, Kimo Ah Yun, in a statement on social networks. “The lives of Noah and Scott were taken too soon and shared the heartbreak of their teammates, coaches and those who knew them personally.”
Snyder, 20, was an attacker for the team. The second year student was a student at the Faculty of Business Administration of Irving, New York. Michaud, 19, was a goalkeeper of the Lacrosse team. The second year student was a student of Biomedical Sciences at Springboro, Ohio.
Both men were named for the totally academic team of the Big East conference in their early years in school to maintain an average of 3.0 GPA.

A 41 -year -old driver crashed with another vehicle that contained six occupants on Friday night, Milwaukee police said. The six occupants in the second vehicle were members of the Lacrosse team, according to Marquette officials.
Snyder and Michaud were declared dead on the scene. The other four occupants were treated at the scene or in the nearby hospitals, police said.
The 41 -year -old driver was not immediately identified. Police said an investigation is ongoing and that the Milwaukee County District Prosecutor’s Office is pending criminal charges.
