The Police and the Department of Terrorism (CTD) killed two terrorists and confiscated weapons and ammunition during an operation in Lakki Marwat.
The operation was carried out in the directives of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa IGP Zulfiqar Hameed, while the police officer of the Lakki Marwat Nazeer Khan district personally supervised the effort. DSP Circle Lakki Zafarullah Khan, DSP CTD Israr Khan, Sho Dadiwala, as well as Personal of Elite Force, RRF, DSB and other units participated in the joint operation.
Acting on intelligence reports, security forces moved to the forests of the village of Masti Khani, where armed terrorists were planning an attack. When the operation team arrived, the terrorists opened fire, which caused a strong retaliation.
The exchange of fire lasted about half an hour, which resulted in the murder of two terrorists. Their identities are being verified, while a large -scale search operation is underway to track their accomplices.
IGP Hameed and RPO Sajad Khan praised police personnel and CTD for the successful operation, promising that the campaign against terrorists would continue until the last terrorist is eliminated.
