Teyana Taylor and Leonardo DiCaprio in Chemistry in their new film, One battle after another They hit different but out of the screen, they became instant friends.
In a recent conversation with The New York Times On Monday, September 8, the co -star revealed that their friendship began long before filming.
When asked how Taylor was chosen as perfidia, DiCaprio said: “I know Teyana for a long time.”
“Paul and I were talking about who would play this ray of a character who was a radical but also someone who could manipulate,” he explained. “The echoes of his character reverberate throughout the film, and each character is emotionally marked by perfidy.”
He Titanic Star added: “So we knew we needed to get someone who could be not only bold and open, but to bring that talent of the truth of improvisation at the time … she simply embodied that character in a way that I do not think that anyone else can. We all remain like a butcher shop after she comes to the screen, collecting the pieces of our lives.”
Taylor revealed how his friendship began: “The funny: Leo and I met at Diana Ross’s birthday party a few years ago and instantly became the best friends. That is my winged partner, my partner in the crime!”
In the action thriller directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, the link outside the actors’s screen has clearly translated into the chemistry of the screen.
