Karachi was whipped by heavy downpours when the second wave of monsoon rains reached the city, with the city of Armjani receiving the highest rain at 129.8 mm in the last 24 hours.

Due to the heavy rains of the Monzón, the Thado dam located in the city of Gadap has overflowed. The floods have submerged the super highway (M-9 highway), which significantly affects traffic flow. According to a 1122 rescue spokesman, his team at the site saw a stagnant vehicle trapped in the current. The overflow of the Thado dam submerged the surrounding areas, the streets and alleys in the city of Gadap. The residents of scheme 3 and other nearby towns spent the night with fear due to floods. Alternative routes

Rescue operation
Rescue operations continued throughout the night to transfer people affected by rain to safe places.
