
The captain of India, Suryakumar Yadav, has expressed his enthusiasm for the long -awaited confrontation of the ASIA T20 Cup of ACC Men’s T20 2025 against Pakistan, which will take place at the Dubai International Crickt Stadium on Sunday.
The former champions opened their campaign with an emphatic style, the hosts of the United Arab Emirates (EAU) in their first tournament match.
First, opting for the field, the Bowling players of India dismantled the batting order of the EAU for only 57 races at 13.1 overs. The left arm spinner Kuldeep Yadav starred in a four wickt tour, leading the dominant performance.
In response, India comfortably pursued the objective of 58 races for the loss of a single wickt and 93 balls left over.
Speaking in the presentation after the game, Yadav explained that he chose to play first to analyze how the launch in the second tickets would react before expressing his satisfaction with the performance of the team.
“I wanted to see how the wickt was playing. It was the same in the second tickets. Children’s clinical performance, we wanted a good attitude and energy in the field and that is what we got,” said Yadav.
The right -hand batter also shared that the players were aware of the conditions here, citing their recent visit for the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 before praising Kuldeep.
“Recently, many of the children were here for the Champions Trophy, the Wickt looked good, but it was slower and the spinnings have a role. Here is very hot right now, and Kuldeep did well, he received a good support from Hardik, Dube and Bumrah,” continued the Indian captain.
Yadav then went to praise Batter de T20i, Abhishek Sharma, for establishing the ‘tone’ for pursuing the total in only 4.3 overs before sharing his anticipation for the successful contest against Pakistan.
“He is currently the world number one batter for a reason; establishes the tone, regardless of whether we pursue 200 or 50, incredible to him. All are excited by the game against Pakistan.”
