Sophie Cunningham criticized Angel Reese for her comments about demanding better players if she continued playing with the Chicago sky.
The two-time All-Star expressed its frustrations with the franchise earlier for the week, saying that “it could have to move in a different direction and do the best for me” if the team does not improve its perspective.
“I am not forming with the same S — that we did this year,” Reese said to Chicago Tribune. “We have to get good players. We have to get great players. That is not negotiable for me.”

The sky suspended it in half due to the comments that were considered “harmful to the team.” The team’s suspension occurred just after it was suspended by a game for receiving its eighth technical lack of the season.
“That’s not great. I feel when you are losing, and it has been a frustrating season, everyone feels those emotions. I am sure that their teammates feel it, their coaches feel it, the organization, the fans, everyone feels that,” Cunningham said in his podcast “shows something.”

“There are some things that you cannot say. One of my most important things is that I am a person very of the team. I always put the team to my feelings, and I think that should be a standard. Therefore, you must protect your costumes. You cannot say everything you feel because that is not a good look. And then your teammates feel true, that causes division in the costume.
“Protect your wardrobe at all costs. I am sure it regrets that, they do not badly, but there are some things that everyone knows that it cannot be said. It can have those who have the main office, you can have those conversations behind closed doors, but saying it in the media is a bit brutal.”
Reese backed his comments after Wednesday’s victory over the Connecticut sun and apologized to the team.

Reese is averaging 14.7 points and a leadership of 12.6 rebounds, but the sky is 10-33, the second record of the association.
