- The AMD CEO will deliver the key note of the CES 2026 company
- When announcing this, Team Red left a clue that some revelations could be made on consumer and CPU GPUs
- Those can be simple teasers, or maybe we will see a new high -end RDNA GPU
AMD could have a great surprise of GPU under the sleeve for Nvidia in the CES 2026 show next January, based on a track withdrawn by the CEO of the network equipment.
This comes from the announcement that Lisa her (stained by Tweaktown) delivers the key note of AMD in CES 2026, in which the CEO mentions that there will be revelations in the front of the games, and with Radeon and Ryzen products.
The press declaration talks about the key note of its general terms, but also touches specific areas of technology, insinuating that these will be the focus of what AMD has planned for CES 2026.
The key part of the propaganda is as follows: “From the leadership of AMD Epyc processors in the data center, to the acceleration enabled by the AMD Instinct GPUs, and the advances promoted by the CPU Ryzen and the RADEON graphics on PC and AI games, AMD technology continues with innovation.”
This suggests that AI and EPYC (server processors for data centers) will be the main impulse of their presentation, but the track is that its will also talk about the consumer side of AMD products, with Ryzen CPU and Radeon Graphics mentioned specifically.
Analysis: Intriguing possibilities to complete CES 2026
Well, then think that AMD has concrete revelations to do in terms of Ryzen and Radeon is a somewhat dim conclusion to draw, granted: CEO could be speaking in general terms about everything AMD does.
However, for me, this announcement suggests that something could be arriving in terms of next -generation CPU and AMD GPU. Remember, these types of statements are carefully prepared, and the clues are often dropped so that Stoke Hype long before an event begins, and I think this could be the case here, particularly when we consider what AMD has in process.
Namely, the new Zen 6 processors and the RDNA 5 graphics cards are in the pipe. Taking the AMD Ryzen desktop CPU first, considering that next -generation chips is not expected to debut until later in 2026, the beginning of the year feels too early for an ad, which is more likely to be saved for Computex (in mid -year).
In a similar vein, Adna 5 (or UDNA) could be even further, with the current theory that are established for a 2026 or 2027 launch.
Then, none of these next -generation ranges is on the horizon, but it is still possible that we can some kind of early progress for them.
Or, in the front of the graphics card, there is another possibility: there have been some rumors that float around that AMD could have something more planned on the path of a high -end RDNA GPU.
Agree, there is not much space for the maneuver in terms of groading something more powerful in the current range of Radeon graphics cards, but the rumor of the factory has transmitted the idea of an RX 9080 XT of high -end than essentially the use of power and watch speeds to be an update on 9070 XX (which is all AMD to do a more performance board).
Is that a realistic perspective? I am not very sure, and the rumors around this alleged supercharged version of the Rdna 4 flagship have calmly calm down. Therefore, take this perspective with great caution, but if AMD has something concrete for CES 2026 in terms of GPU, this could fit.
Especially taking into account that perhaps the red team could feel the need to get something to compete with the Super updates RTX 5000 of NVIDIA, which is now rumored that they will debut in CES 2026, so time makes sense.
I remain skeptical for now, but the same mention of the CPUs of consumers and the GPU is undoubtedly an indication that AMD will have something to say about the new products in those categories CES 2026. And a head from head to head between RX 9080 XT and NVIDIA super gpus would be an interesting perspective, for saying at least.
