In a significant development for the relations of Pakistan-Iran, a direct flight between Islamabad and Tehran has been restored after 60 years, with Iran Air Tour ready to operate a weekly service every Tuesday.

The inaugural ceremony of the resumption Air Link was held on Thursday at Islamabad International Airport, which was attended by a large number of Pakistan and Iran guests. The officials praised the movement as a milestone for regional connectivity, tourism and commerce.
