Two baseball fans who were in the Yankee Stadium to see the New York Yankees face the Detroit Tigers on Thursday night had the influential conservative Charlie Kirk in the mind.
The two men sitting near the field were seen showing their support for the late founder of Turning Point USA, who was killed on a Utah campus on Wednesday. A man wore a shirt that said “Charlie” and the other man wore a shirt that said “Kirk”.

Fans who packed the stadium could also see President Donald Trump. Trump appeared in the stadium as part of the Yankees festivities around the 24th anniversary of the terrorist attacks of September 11 in New York City. Trump met with the players before the game and told Aaron Judge that he was a “fantastic player.”
Kirk’s death death sent a domino effect throughout the United States. Several sports figures intervened in their murder during the first 24 hours since it was announced that it had died. The Yankees offered a moment of silence before their game on Wednesday.
“Before tonight, we kept a moment of silence in Memoriam by Charlie Kirk,” the team said in a publication on social networks.

“Kirk founded the Youth Activist ‘Turning Point USA’ and had become a fixed element in the University Campus. Charlie Kirk, husband and father of two children, was 31 years old.”
Kirk’s photo also put himself in the Videoboard.
It was hit by a single bullet around 12:20 pm local time at the Campus of the University of the Utah Valley in OREM on Wednesday. The 31 -year -old was mostly surrounded by university students when his event was starting.
The authorities have not yet publicly identified a suspect in the shooting. However, the officials offered more details about the person looking for, throwing several photos and a video of the alleged culprit.
The investigation was still ongoing.
