The Superstar of the New York Yankees, Aaron Judge, said the team meeting with President Donald Trump gave “all confidence” to win.
The Yankees defeated the Tigers of Detroit, 9-3, on Thursday at Yankee Stadium with Trump attending the 24th anniversary of the September 11 attacks.
“We put a show. He came here and told us that we were going to win, so I think that gave everyone the confidence in the room to leave and do it,” said Judge, through NJ Advance Media.

“But I suppose we have to have it more often when we go out and write down those races and do something like that.”
Judge was 3 of 4 with a couple of solo homers in the game, its 45th and 46th of its MVP caliber season. Trump talked about meeting Judge and the Yankees on Friday.
“I said: ‘You have to win this game, you will make me look bad if this game does not want’ and they were great and Aaron Judge, he is a player, but he is a strong guy,” Trump said Friday morning during an appearance in “Fox & Friends.”
