- Model numbers of three phones detected
- Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Flip 7 seem likely
- Another foldable SE should arrive
The OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R were already shown in China, the latter under the name OnePlus Ace 5, and now we have newly leaked information about what to expect from the international launch of the OnePlus 13R on January 7. .
Experienced tipster @MysteryLupin has posted an extensive series of images of the OnePlus 13R, showing the phone in a couple of different color options. There is a gold version and something that will be labeled black or dark gray.
As for the design, there are not too many surprises, because we have already seen the OnePlus Ace 5 before its international name change. However, there’s no sign here of the green and gold options the OnePlus Ace 5 offers for those in China.
This could be because those colors will not be available to international buyers or because this tipster was unable to obtain leaked images in those colors. We’ll have to wait until OnePlus makes this phone official next month to know for sure.
Cameras and batteries
While the OnePlus 13R (International) is largely based on the OnePlus Ace 5 (China), not all specs will match, and another new leak has revealed that the global version of this phone will have a much better rear camera.
According to well-known tipster @heyitsyogesh, the OnePlus 13R will come with a triple-lens rear camera setup of 50MP (main), 8MP (ultra-wide-angle), and 50MP (telephoto with x2 optical zoom). Then there will be a 16MP selfie camera on the front.
That’s an improvement over the OnePlus Ace 5, which uses a 2MP macro camera as a third on the back; there is no telephoto option. The other camera specs, including the 16MP selfie camera, appear to be a match between the two models.
There may be other slight variations to keep in mind when the OnePlus 13R goes official: as GSMArena reports, the OnePlus 13R’s battery will be 6,000 mAh instead of 6,415 mAh, for example. Head to our OnePlus 12R review to see what it replaces.
