It is likely that the prices of oil derived products increase to RS4.79 per liter from September 16 as part of the biweekly review of prices in view of fluctuations in the international market.
The price of gasoline is expected to increase in RS1.54 per liter. It is likely that the price of diesel increases in RS4.79 per liter, while the prices of the light and light diesel oil are increased respectively by RS3.06 and RS3.68 per liter.
Orga will send its final work to the oil division on September 15. The oil division and the Ministry of Finance will send the calculations, including tax settings and tax adjustments, to the prime minister, which will give the final approval.
