- Zinwa Q27 mimics Blackberry’s appearance with modern Android 16 software
- A 3.92 -inch AMOLED screen with a complete Qwerty keyboard
- MEDATEK DIMENSITY 7300 AND MALI-G615 MC2 POWER THE DEVICE
Zinwa Technologies is preparing the Zinwa Q27, a smartphone that revives the appearance of the classic Blackberry devices.
This next model departs from the reused hardware and, instead, offers a completely new design that closely mimics Blackberry’s aesthetics.
Its 3.92 -inch AMOLED screen offers a resolution of 1080 x 1240 with an appearance ratio of 31:27, while a physical keyboard QWERTY is under the screen.
A modern turn in a classic design
When Android 16 runs, the phone aims to close modern nostalgia and functionality, although it will not be ready for mass production until at least May 2026.
In the nucleus of the Zinwa Q27 there is a mediatek dimensity 7300 processor, with 4 CPU Cortex-A78 nuclei that operate to 2.5 GHz, 4 Cortex-A55 nuclei and Mali-G615 Mc2 graphics.
The inclusion of the NPU 655 MediaTak suggests an approach to the IA -related tasks, while 12 GB of LPDDR5 memory and 256 GB of UFS storage 3.1 indicate levels of average range performance at a higher range.
The support for a microSD card reader allows greater expansion, and the phone presents a Nano Sim slot along with Esim’s capacity.
The Q27 includes a 50MP rear camera and a 16MP front camera, as well as stereo speakers and Wi -Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4 and both 4G and 5G networks.
The battery options are expected to be 3500 or 4000 mAh, admitted by 33W fast charging.
Zinwa’s emphasis on retaining a complete keyboard can attract users oriented to productivity that value tactile writing for Android messages or applications that require frequent text entry.
If this form in shape offers enough advantages over the largest touch screens it remains uncertain.
For a device that evokes older Blackberry models, the combination of specifications aims to provide sufficient energy for daily use, although it will probably not compete with the best smart phones in the market.
Q27 points out a change for Zinwa, which previously modified the existing Blackberry hardware such as Q25.
The company now plans to run two parallel product lines: new devices such as Q27 and a series of “Blackberry Revival” models based on phones such as Blackberry Q10 and Passport.
