The Vice Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar arrived in Doha on Sunday to direct Pakistan’s delegation to the ministerial meeting before the Arab-Islamic emergency summit convened in response to Israel’s strikes against Qatar.
Upon arrival, Dar was received by the Pakistan ambassador to Qatar, the permanent representative of Pakistan for the Islamic Cooperation Organization (OIC) and senior officials of the Qatar government.
Apart from the Preparatory Meeting of Foreign Ministers, give conversations with his Egyptian counterpart, Dr. Badr Abdelatty.
The two parties strongly condemned Israel’s “illegal strikes” in Qatar and other Muslim nations, denouncing them as shameless violations of sovereignty and international law.
Both foreign ministers reaffirmed the unwavering support of their countries to the Palestinian cause and underlined the urgent need for unity in the Muslim Ummah to face the aggression and defend the rights of the Palestinians.
The Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit in Doha occurs in the midst of increasing regional tensions caused by the broad military campaign of Israel, which has generated international criticism for undermining efforts of high fire and further destabilizing the Middle East.
Copatrocinated by Pakistan, the summit has been convened in response to the newly Israeli attacks in Doha, as well as the situation that quickly deteriorates in Palestine and the growing Israeli aggression in Gaza and the West Bank.

According to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, the leaders and senior officials of the Member States of the Islamic Cooperation Organization (OIC) will meet in Doha to deliberate in the crisis and draw a joint strategy to address the developments that are developed.
The FO also pointed out that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited Doha at the beginning of September 11, where he met Qatar’s leadership and expressed the solidarity and support of Pakistan.
“Pakistan strongly condemns Israeli aggression against Qatar and other states of the region and reaffirms its commitment to regional peace, the security and sovereignty of its partners,” added the Foreign Ministry.
Islamabad reiterated its firm position on the subject of Palestine and requested an immediate end to hostilities through dialogue.
Israel pointed to Hamas leaders last Tuesday on strikes in the capital of Qatar, killing five Hamas members and a Qatar security officer. The attack attracted a generalized international condemnation, even of the Alidian Gulf monarchies with the United States, the main sponsor of Israel.
