The Cincinnati Bengals could face a great setback with Field Marshal Joe Burrow.
Burrow left Sunday’s victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars with a foot injury, and the NFL Network reported that it is feared to have the finger of the degree foot 3. That type of injury generally requires surgery and comes with a long recovery.
According to the reports, the Bengals sent images of Burrow’s injury to Dr. Robert Anderson, a feet specialist, to determine if the surgery is necessary. If so, recovery could put Burrow aside for up to three months, essentially the entire regular season.

The team confirmed that Burrow is dealing with an injury to the foot of the foot, although no decision has been made on whether it will need surgery. The injury occurred in the second quarter when Arik Armstead dismissed Burrow. He stayed on the grass and hit his helmet with frustration.

In the next series, after the Bengals intercepted Trevor Lawrence, the support Jake Browning entered the game while Burrow was helped to the costumes for evaluation.
Browning took the Bengals to a return victory, immersing himself in the annotation zone with only remaining seconds in the last quarter to seal a 31-27 victory.

Cincinnati improved 2-0 to start the 2025 season, but the franchise contains the breath that Burrow could return sooner rather than later. The Bengals lost the playoffs last year despite the strong Burrow season, when he led the NFL with 4,918 air yards and 43 TouchDowns on his way to be named a player back of the year.
However, injuries have been a recurring challenge for the 28 -year -old Marshal. He rated multiple ligaments in his left knee in 2020 and suffered a wrist liga torn in 2023, with both injuries that ended his season prematurely.

An advertisement of the Bengals could arrive as early as Monday, but Burrow is expected to be discarded at least for the confrontation of next week against the Minnesota Vikings.
