The member of the Profíse football hall and the legend of the Miami Dolphins, Dan Marino, had a attention call in 2007 when he received a personal health diagnosis.

Now, he is sharing his trip to help others who can also be affected.

Marino learned that the year had diagnosed hepatitis of steatosis (puree) of metabolic dysfunction, also known as fatty liver disease. In association with Novo Nordisk and his united stories campaign, Marino joined a group of old athletes to share their trips.

“Novo Nordisk is a company where I wanted to get involved because they are trying to make a difference,” Digital’s Pak Gazette told Fox on Monday. “There are one in 20 Americans who have fatty liver diseases, puree and 15 million Americans have that. It is an awareness campaign to basically make people aware of going to see their doctor, and it is something that is manageable.”

While Marino would not reveal the stories of other athletes in the unordinary stories campaign, the project allows the greats as him the opportunity to share significant moments and transitions of life that often occur behind the scene. And, of course, with any change of life, there is support along the way.

For Marino, the diagnosis may have been a shock, but it was positive after listening to what your doctor had to say.

“It is manageable with early detection,” he said. “Then, go to your doctor and get your normal checks as always.

Marino, who finished the Top 10 in the air yards and touchdowns of all NFL time after 17 seasons, said a sports lesson that has helped him since he learned of his diagnosis.

“There is one thing that I always take from football, athletics and sports: that is to be positive,” he said. “Wait forward and look for answers and see what you can do and how it can be the best it can be. I would say that I understood that this is a problem, make me know. But the most important part is that it is manageable and is dealing with that.

“Once again, have that great attitude and do the things you need to take care of yourself. There are many examples of that in everyone’s life, there really is.”

Today, Marino continues to exercise and maintains a healthy diet to control its mash. He turned 64 on Monday, and with the support of his wife, Claire, remains proactive to remodel his lifestyle.
