Shehbaz asks for an Islamic working group against Israel

Doha:

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif condemned the “reckless and provocative” attack of Israel against Doha, describing him as a flagrant rape of sovereignty and international law of Qatar, and urged the immediate global action to take responsibility for Israel for war for war crimes.

Speaking at the Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit organized by Qatar, the prime minister described the strike of September 9 as a “treacherous act” against a fraternal Islamic State and a deliberate attempt to undermine peace efforts.

He requested the urgent and permanent fire in Gaza, as well as the creation of an Arab-Islamic work force to counteract Israeli expansionist designs. “This was a flagrant violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the state of Qatar,” he said.

Israel’s assault was “another manifestation of his declared hegemonic ambitions,” he added. Even in times of war, he said, the mediators are considered inviolable: “They are the messengers of fragile hope: hope of keeping dialogue alive.”

The prime minister said that Israel’s genocidal campaign had reduced “debris and ruins” to Gaza and left indelible scars in humanity. He invoked the difficult situation of the Palestinian children, including a 10 -year -old boy named Ameer, who, he said, was shot dead by Israeli soldiers while looking for food, along with “64,000 of his compatriots.”

Shehbaz emphasized that Israel must account for war crimes and reiterated Pakistan’s support to suspend the members of the UN of Israel. He urged the UN Security Council, under chapter VII of the UN Charter, to demand a high immediate, unconditional and permanent fire, the release of hostages and the exchange of Palestinian prisoners, together with humanitarian access and guaranteed protection for humanitarian workers, journalists and UN staff.

By reaffirming Pakistan’s position, he said that the only fair and lasting solution lies in the creation of an independent Palestine state on borders prior to 1967 with Al Quds al Sharif as its capital. “That the story records this moment, when we, leaders of the Arab-Islamic world, have chosen unity, dignity and courage over silence and inaction,” he concluded.

Apart from the summit, Prime Minister Shehbaz also held separate meetings with the leaders of Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Jordan, with the Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ishaq Dar, and the head of the Army staff, General Syed also accompanied him.

In his meeting with the Saudi heir prince and Prime Minister Mohammed Bin Salman, Shehbaz condemned Israel’s action as a deliberate attempt to derail the peace efforts of the Middle East. He transmitted the appreciation for the leadership of the heir prince in unifying the Muslim world.

Prime Minister Shehbaz assured Pakistan’s complete diplomatic support in the UN Security Council, OIC and other multilateral forums. Both parts reaffirmed their “historical and deep fraternal ties.”

On the occasion, the heir prince said he was waiting for the next state visit of the Prime Minister to Riyadh at the end of this week for an integral exchange of opinions on bilateral, regional and global issues.

In his meeting with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, Shehbaz conveyed Pakistan’s strongest condemnation of Israeli aggression, qualifying it reckless and a shameless violation of international law.

Both leaders expressed solidarity with Qatar and agreed that Israel must be responsible. The prime minister also reaffirmed Pakistan’s desire to expand bilateral cooperation in commerce, investment and health.

Later, in the conversations with King Abdullah II of Jordan, Shehbaz again condemned Israel’s attack as a serious violation of the law and an attempt to derail peace. Praising the firm leadership of the Jordanian monarch for the Palestinian cause, he agreed to consult consultations to mobilize international support for peace and stability in the region.

The prime minister emphasized that the Summit of Doha sent a strong and unified message to the world: that Muslims joined against the “illegal and reckless aggression of Israel and would continue to press for justice for Palestine.
