Can you feel the cold in the air, see the leaves on the floor and you are already fighting the impulse of drinking hot chocolate? The welcoming season is officially here, and that means new Halloween and Christmas movies in Hallmark+. Do not be misunderstood, there are already hundreds to choose from the transmission service, but who does not love the new content?
This new content is especially good when led by the Queen of Hallmark, Lacey Chabert. At the end of 2025, he will have been in 44 original films, and that is easily more than any other actor on the planet. After talking to her, it is clear that he loves Hallmark as much as she loves, but that does not mean that things cannot be done differently.
In fact, his next two films – Transport the Halloween and She is making a list – They are destined to have “a different taste” to what we have seen before, according to the star, I have no idea what that means, but that does not prevent me from sitting.

“We are doing much more comedy,” Chabert tells me when I ask him how Hallmark has changed over the years. “Transport the Halloween It opens on October 11, with Drag the holly and Take the Illuminated Acebo being the first two films of that series. That was the first time for the network that I had the opportunity to do something that was a really broad and direct comedy, and it was very fun. “
If you have not yet broadcast the first two films, make it immediately. As you can see in the trailer above, Chabert plays Emily, who comes home to visit her parents, just to discover that they leave for their own trip. She stays at home during the holidays and meets members of the community who want to join the Christmas festivities of the neighborhood. Trust me, it’s as sweet as it seems.
“I think people are really going to love Take out the Halloween ” She continues. “I have not made a Halloween movie either! We have so many ideas and so many things in the development that continue giving the public what I think they resort to the channel in the best way, but they also raise the narration in any way we can.”
Then there is your next Christmas movie. Netflix subscribers can remember Binging Hot Frosy Last year, but in Hallmark, this is Chabert’s bread and butter.
“Andrew Walker and I just finished She is making a list“Chabert tells me.” We just filmed that in Vancouver, and I play a woman who works for a company that audits the mischievous or pleasant list of Santa. I love this movie. It is a different idea. He has much more comedy, but he still has a very sweet romantic side and a romantic history.
“I don’t want to ruin it for the audience, but it has a little of everything. This movie I feel is a little more magical than those I have done before, and it is a slightly different taste. I love making Christmas movies, because I love Christmas. It’s my favorite vacation, and I am very excited to really celebrate it to make movies about it.”
