According to a statement issued by DGPR Pak Navy, the two discussed the regional maritime security environment and the operational preparation of the Pakistan Navy.
Admiral Ashraf informed the minister about prevailing maritime challenges and the integral preparation of the Navy to address them. He also described continuous and planned initiatives aimed at improving and modernizing naval capacities.
The Defense Minister was very interested in the recent induction of advanced platforms and avant -garde equipment.
