Islamabad:
The National Communications Committee of the Assembly Assembly expressed a strong concern for the repeated absence of NHA officials, urging measures under parliamentary rules.
At its 13th meeting, chaired by MNA Aijaz Hussain Jakhrani, the Committee described the absence of officials to bother for parliamentary procedures and the elements of the agenda related to the NHA.
The members of the committee unanimously condemned the repeated and innotified absence of the secretary and president of the NHA, urging the president to take measures on what they called a contempt for parliamentary procedures.
It was emphasized that Parliament represents the voice of the nation, and that last minute notifications or lack of assistance to meetings undermine their authority and credibility.
The meeting of the meeting had been duly issued on September 10, with enough intimidation time for the Ministry.
However, prior communication was not received with respect to the directives of the Prime Minister or the lack of availability of the officials until only one day before the meeting.
