I have been Umming and Aahing about which iPhone should update since Apple presented the iPhone 17 Pro and the iPhone air two weeks ago.
The point is that I update my iPhone every year (I know it is a bad habit, but I cannot avoid wanting that new smart phone sensation every September). Normally, it is quite clear what device to buy, and I generally look for a professional model with all bells and whistles.
This year, however, Apple has given consumers another option: a new device that scratches that itching for something different, something innovative.
Now, two weeks later, and the day of launch has arrived, and I did what any reckless adult would do … I bought both the iPhone 17 Pro and the iPhone Air.
So, instead of making a rational decision, I will ask Techradar readers to decide for me. I will give you information about my priorities below, and you can choose which iPhone I will shake for next year. Please choose wisely.
iPhone Air vs iPhone Pro
So … I need your help. I bought an Air iPhone Sky Blue of 256 GB and a Cosmic Orange Pro Cosmic Orange Pro. I spent my own money, and once I decide what smartphone to choose, I will use the generous policy of return of Apple for the other.
I am updating from an iPhone 16 Pro Max (again, I definitely did not need to update, but I am a fan of the new technology), and this year I felt like something a bit different, hence the decision to opt for the PRO and the new newer air.
I value the battery life, and I would say that I am an electrical user, not in terms of games, but I work hard on my iPhone, and spend a lot of time online. That said, work on a desk and I always have access to a charger.
I also really care about ergonomics and I want the most comfortable iPhone because I often receive cramps with the 16 pro max.
I have a Fujifilm X100VI, so photography is not so important, but I still like to take photos with my smartphone, and I am used to the configuration of the Pro camera, so I am not completely sure of how the weakest smartphone cameras look and feel.
I love orange, but air looks incredible, and I always want to try new things and be one of the first to adopt.
