Angelina Jolie is finally relieved after a long divorce battle with Brad Pitt reached a settlement.
according to People, Pitt and Jolie signed the documents on Monday, December 30. Both sides requested a jury trial.
A person close to OscarThe winning actress told the outlet that the last decade was extremely unpleasant for Jolie and her family.
“These last eight years have been a terrible time for her and her family,” the source told the outlet.
“She could have pressed charges against him. She could have told the world what happened. She didn’t,” the insider continued. “All I wanted was for Brad to get the help he needed and for his kids to get the support they needed to heal.”
“However, it gives you some relief to know that this part is finally over,” chirped the bird.
It is pertinent to mention that Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt in September 2016, two years after getting married and 12 years of being together.
