The death toll from the deadly explosion on Thursday near the border between Pakistan-Fanganistan in Chaman increased to six, since a more succumbed wound to their wounds, doctors at the Civil Hospital of Chaman confirmed on Friday three others three remained under treatment.
The explosion occurred near a taxi position in the field of refugees near the border that travelers and premises frequent. Police sources described the explosion “a suicidal explosion” that charged lives of at least five people.
The initial reports indicated that four people had died, but two of the injured succumbed to their wounds while moving to the hospital, the officials said, and added that the movement through the border had stopped as the investigation into the explosion continued.
The closure of the border, together with the suspension of Internet services in the city and adjacent areas, has left hundreds of Afghan families stranded in abrasor heat. Long lines of vehicles have formed on both sides.
Security has been clenched on the Chaman’s border after the bombing, with the security personnel who maintains high surveillance.
