Karachi:

The president of PPP, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, described on Friday the defense agreement with Saudi Arabia as a positive step for Pakistan, saying that all Pakistani wanted to protect Makkah and Madina.

Talking to the media after visiting the large sewerage plant in Karachi, Bilawal said there was continuous coordination between provincial and federal governments. He pointed out that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had committed to Karachi, which would be implemented.

The president of the PPP said that the Saudi Arabia Defense Agreement of Pakistan, which was signed on Wednesday, was beneficial for both countries. “The agreement reached with Saudi Arabia is positive for Pakistan. Each Pakistani wants to defend Makkah and Madina,” he said.

When asked about the behavior of the Indian Cricket team in a match in the Asia Cup against Pakistan last Sunday, Bilawal criticized India for dragging Crick’s policy. He also said that Pakistan had recently defeated India in the war.

When commenting on speculation about political changes in Sindh, he commented that the media generated such reports. “You direct the stories and then ask me the questions,” he told journalists.

Bilawal also referred to the recent visit of President Asif Ali Zardari to China, saying that the president represented the entire country and had been warmly received there. He said that development problems, including Sindh’s solid waste management, had been discussed during the visit.

In the flood ongoing, Bilawal said that politics should not play on natural disasters. “When the calamities strike is made to the world. The United Nations must be addressed, but the federal government has not yet appealed to the UN,” he said.

He warned that flood -related health problems were still emerging and emphasized that the prime minister should seek international assistance. He urged the victims to receive support through the BISP.
