NYT Connections Today (game #833) – The answers
The responses to today’s connections, game #833, are …
- Yellow: gestures with touch screen Pinch, move, slide, hit
- Green: Relax Cool, bread, living room, vegetables
- Blue: restaurant seat options Bar, stand, counter, table
- Purple: Vegetables with first letter eliminated Ale, eek, hive, cancellation
- My qualification: Easy
- My score: Perfect
My food obsession helped me obtain seat options in the restaurant today, but it did not extend to the vegetables with the first letter eliminated. That probably says a lot about my current heavy diet in carbohydrates, it is not that I can see more onion (hive in this game) would change a lot.
Tactile screen gestures were also easy to obtain today, although it is fun to think how common this interaction with our devices has become.
Anyone who has seen the movie Blackberry (About the brand before the dominant iPhone) you will know that the buttons (and the buttons that make a sound) were considered essential before starting our screens.
Finishing a particularly easy round without surprises was to relax, which contained a track for the purple group and some instructions on some pleasant ways to spend Sunday.
NYT Connections responses yesterday (Saturday, September 20, game #832)
- Yellow: Car brands Dodge, Ford, Lincoln, Ram
- Green: Bit of Sports Bar Tarife Chip, sauce, fried, wing
- Blue: NHL team member Duck, steering wheel, senator, star
- Purple: Sky___ Diving, Alondra, rocket, scraper
What are NYT connections?
Nyt Connections is one of the several increasingly popular words games made by the New York Times. It challenges him to find groups of four elements that share something in common, and each group has a different level of difficulty: green is easy, yellow a little harder, blue often quite hard and purple generally very difficult.
On the positive side, he technically does not need to solve the end, since he can answer it for an elimination process. In addition, you can make up to four mistakes, which gives you some space to breathe.
However, it is a bit more involved than something like Wordle, and there are many opportunities for the game to move you with tricks. For example, be careful with homophones and other words games that could disguise the answers.
It is playable for free through the Nyt Games site in desktop or mobile.
