The WNBA phenomenon, Caitlin Clark, said it was fined $ 200 for the League for an Instagram comment by calling the referees, on Saturday, and has not even played a game in months.
In an X publication, Clark returned to Shogar a screenshot of his comment, which celebrated the victory of the Indiana Fever playoff series about Atlanta’s dream with the statement “The referees could not stop us” from a fans account.
“I received a fine of $ 200 for this hahaha,” Clark wrote in his X post again sharing screen capture. “Bench Mob will be even more noisy tomorrow let Goo!

Clark’s teammate, Sophie Cunningham, changed Clark’s position again, joking that someone should start a fundraising for Clark to help pay the fine.
“That is really going to break the bank for her. Starting a gofundme now!” Cunningham wrote.
Clark’s 2025 salary was $ 78,066, but he has endorsers that eclipse that figure.
Both Clark and Cunningham suffered injuries that end the season earlier this year and have been set aside during the Indiana playoff career.
Even so, both players have been at the center of attention during the postseason game, particularly when it comes to referees.
During the first quarter of the Faver vs. game. The Atlanta Dream on Tuesday night, Clark and Cunningham made a demonstrative gesture for officials, protesting that a dream player should be asked to travel.
The images of their joint gesture became viral on social networks.
Later in the game, when officials called to travel in Atlanta, Clark was seen imitating the gesture again, playfully.
The relationship between Clark and WNBA officials has been a controversial issue since he reached the League in 2024.
Several people close to Clark, including Cunningham, fever coach, Stephanie White and even Clark’s brother have talked about the questionable treatment of the WNBA phenomenon by the referees.
In June, after becoming viral for starting a fight in Defense of Clark against Connecticut Sun, Cunningham called the officials to journalists.

“During that, it was only part of the game. I think the referees had a lot to do with that. It was an accumulation for a couple of years of them, simply not protecting the star player from the WNBA,” Cunningham said. “At the end of the day, I’m going to protect my teammates. That’s what I do.”
Clark’s brother, Colin Clark, suggested that WNBA officials were to blame for the injury of the Guardian Guard, which he suffered in July.
“Do not be wrong, this is in the reffing,” he wrote in X, before eliminating the publication.
White called the officials after a controversial not called against Clark against the freedom of New York in May.
“I thought he hurried. I think it’s quite atrocious what has been happening to us in recent games,” White said about Clark. “The lack of respect at this time for our team has been quite incredible. Therefore, it is disappointing, you know, that it does not go both ways, or has not gone in both directions.”
Meanwhile, in September 2024, a rookie Clark came to a technical foul of a suspension of a game.
“And it stinks because I feel like half of my technicians this year, I got one for that inadvertent contact in the Minnesota game and then two for hitting the canal of the basket,” Clark said about the faults. “One was a complete accident, and then the other two were a little frustration with myself. So, I think I could have done a better job keeping my emotions under control, but at the same time, such as … really?”

Now, Clark has boldly boasted to be fined for calling the referees on social networks, since his team presses during the WNBA playoffs without her.
