The legend of Golf Phil Mickelson pointed to representative Ilhan Omar, D-minn., Saturday after the controversial congressman insulted Charlie Kirk and his legacy.
During an interview in CNN, Omar went to his recent publications on social networks in which he called Kirk “Dr. Frankenstein”, doubling those comments and saying that his legacy should stay in the “garbage of history.”
“What I find discordant is that there are so many people willing to apologize for the most representable things that he said, that they agree with that, that they are willing to have monuments for him, that they want to create a day to honor him and who want to produce resolutions in the Congress Chamber honoring his life and his legacy,” Omar said.

“I will not sit here and be judged for not wanting to honor any legacy that this man has left behind, which should be in the dump of history, and we hope to move on and forget the hatred he threw every day.”
Mickelson responded to Omar’s comments in an X post, saying that he hopes he has been “sent back to Somalia soon.”
“Ilhan throws hate every time she opens her mouth, she came here fraudulently and hopefully will be sent back to Somalia soon,” Mickelson wrote.
Mickelson was mainly praised for his rebuke to Omar in his answers X.
Mickelson has been supporting Kirk externally in the days after his murder in Utah, making frequent X publications that commemorate the influential conservative and celebrate his life and legacy.
Mickelson said previously that he believed that the murder was highlighting “some of the best in humanity and is also exposing some of the worst.”
“The murder of Charlie Kirk is bringing some of the best in humanity to light and is also exposing some of the worst,” he wrote in X in response to a statement from the President of the Oxford Union. “Unification, love, support and protest in your name worldwide is moving.
“The number of people who support the terrible behavior of Tyler Robinson have opened my eyes to the side of extremism with a complex of moral superiority that has also shaken my belief in people in general. I hope they are responsible for their disgusting rhetoric.”
Meanwhile, Omar has been a target of Republican colleagues since he made his initial comments condemning Kirk.
Omar specifically reaction During an interview with the Zeteo Progressive News environment, in which he criticized Kirk’s previous comment and the republican reaction to the shooting. He later accused the Republicans of getting his words out of context, and called the death of Kirk “mortifying.”

Previously he told Zeteo days after Kirk’s murder that he had “minimized slavery and what blacks have happened in this country by saying that Juneteenth should not exist.”
“There are many people who are talking about him just wanting to have a civil debate,” said the “squad” member. “There is nothing more effective, you know, that completely pretending that, you know, their words and actions have not registered and exist during the last decade more or less.”

Omar also published a video about X, where others not associated with the congresswoman said: “Don’t be fooled, these people do not give a single S — about Charlie Kirk. They are only using their death to promote their Christo-Fascist agenda.”
The colleagues of the Democrats of Minnesota have defended her vehemently against censorship and republican criticisms.
The representative Nancy Mace, RS.C., moved to force a vote to censor Omar for her reaction to Kirk’s murder, but the measure was annulled when four Republicans and all the Democrats voted to cover the measure.
The president of Caucus of the Main Main House, Mike Flood, R-Neb., Will refer to Omar for an investigation of the Chamber Ethics Committee, Pak Gazette Digital reported Thursday.
The upper part of the complaints will include the comments “unpleasant, insulting and derogatory of the progressive Democrat after the murder of Charlie Kirk,” he said.
