LAHORE:
Khadija Shah, a supporter of Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf (PTI), has presented an appeal in the Superior Court of Lahore (LHC), challenging the five-year sentence that was given to him in relation to a case that arises from the disturbances of May 9.
In his request, Shah argued that the Court of First Instance condemned it for violation of the law, arguing that the Court could not properly evaluate the facts and proceeded with condemnation even though it was not present in the crime scene.
According to the verdict of the Court of First Instance, Shah was accused of participating in burning a government vehicle near Jinnah House during the disturbances.
