NFL lesions: Naje Harris de Chargers suffers leg injuries without contact

The Los Angeles Chargers corridor, Najae Harris, suffered a brutal injury at the bottom of the leg in the second quarter of his divisional confrontation of the AFC West against the Denver Broncos on Sunday.

Harris was aligned behind the field marshal Justin Herbert when the work began with 5:16 remaining in the middle. Herbert faked the transfer, and Harris immediately went down to grab his left foot. A repetition showed Harris trying to take off his left foot before a leg shock wave was sent.

Harris was seen being out of the field. Initially, the Chargers said it was questionable to return with an ankle injury, but then was degraded to leave.

The chief coach of the Chargers, Jim Harbaugh, did not have an immediate update when he spoke with CBS before the beginning of the third quarter.

Los Angeles signed Harris in the low season after spending the first four years of his career with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was ready to be part of a field with Omarion Hampton. The injury will certainly be a blow to the crime of the chargers.

Harris ran for 1,043 yards and six touchdowns in 2024, the fourth consecutive year that reached at least 1,000 yards per land. A single game had not been lost since his rookie season.
