The president of the United States, Donald Trump, hit the night host Jimmy Kimmel in the commemorative service of Charlie Kirk.

In a final speech at the event held at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, this Sunday, Trump honored the conservative commentator murdered as a man who “did not hate his opponents” and “wanted the best for them.”

Trump then made a contrast between Kirk and himself. “That’s where I did not agree with Charlie,” he said. “I hate my opponents and I don’t want the best for them.”

He repeatedly criticized what he described as political violence for the “radical left”, his “allies in the media” and the “paid agitators.”

Not to mention Kimmel by name, Trump referred to his suspended ABC night show Jimmy Kimmel Live!.

“The same commentators who this week cry fascism for a night -canceled television program, where the presenter had no talent and there were no qualifications last year, implied that Charlie deserved what happened to him.”

Trump also criticized those who accused him of celebrating Kirk’s death. “Some of the same people who call you enemy for using the wrong pronoun were filled with joy at the murder of a father with two beautiful young children,” he said.

“The weapon pointed to him, but the bullet was directed to all,” he added.
