President Trump has affirmed that he and Chinese President Xi Jinping had “approved the Tiktok agreement” after months of negotiations, and several American weightless investors would be at the forefront of the agreement between the United States and China.
Talk with Fox News After Trump’s statement, American press secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed: “We are 100% sure that an agreement is made … an agreement that puts the United States first.”
Leavitt recognized the importance of the platform, noting that the small companies of the Nation had benefited from Tiktok’s electronic commerce opportunities, hence the importance of an agreement being reached.
The United States has reached a Tiktok agreement, finally
Although the details of the agreement remain secret as the two nations end the details and the signature agreements, Leavitt confirmed that Oracle will be responsible for the platform data in the US.
It is also said that US investors are an integral part of the agreement, with Trump indicating that Larry Ellison de Oracle and Michael Dell De Dell could be involved.
Trump also alluded to the possible participation of Lachlan Murdoch, who has a great influence in much of the world’s media, including Nova Entertainment, News Corp and Fox Corporation.
The agreement ensures that the American entity of Tiktok is majority, owned by the United States, with six of the seven seats of the Board held by US citizens. It would also comply with US laws that require Tiktok to sell an American buyer amid security concerns.
This occurs after legislators and intelligence agencies concerned that Tiktok can allow the Chinese government to access the data of the users of the United States, and that China can influence what Americans contain through algorithmic manipulation. Leavitt confirmed that the United States would retain control over the algorithms of UT users.
The White House has not yet confirmed the closure of the agreement, but we hope to hear details very soon.
