- Two photos have emerged that show the OnePlus 15
- They show a redesigned camera block that is very different from OnePlus 13’s
- They also show the phone in two colors: white and pink
It was rumored for a while that OnePlus 15 could have a new design, and now the details of that design are almost confirmed, since the photos have apparently shown the phone.
First, a Weibo account for the ESports League League League (PEL) (through Phone Arena) has shared an image of players looking at a OnePlus phone, with the title asking the spectators who guess what they are seeing.
While the phone is not mentioned by name, this does not seem to be an existing OnePlus phone, so it is likely to be the OnePlus 15.
This seems that it is probably an official mockery of the phone in collaboration with PL, but together with that, @oneplusclub has also shared another photo of the device in X. It is not clear where this second image comes from, and if it is an intentional mockery or a filtration, but it seems to be the same phone.
A more conventional design
So we are quite sure that this is the OnePlus 15 that we are seeing, but if so, it is unfortunate, because it has changed the distinctive circular camera housing of the OnePlus 13, that our review of OnePlus 13 described as “a magnificent phone”, for a much more conventional square camera block.
Within that block, the lenses are organized in a slightly unusual way, with two hosted together in a black oblong, one by itself, and what is presumably a flash surrounded by a black circle.
But while it is a bit unusual, it is not necessarily attractive, and it is not even totally unique, since it reminds us a bit of the 10 Pro fold pixel, not to mention the OnePlus 13T, which also has a similar design.
In any case, apart from the camera design, there is not much to do here. We can only see the background of the phone and otherwise it has a fairly simple finish, which is shown here blank and pink.
But we hope to have a more complete vision of OnePlus 15 soon, since it is likely to be launched in October, although possibly only in China, with a global launch to follow.
