- Microsoft has solved two errors that have been spinning for a year
- They include a failure that affects web cameras and an Bluetooth audio error
- Unfortunately, a new error has been presented with the September Update of Windows 11 that presents the reproduction of Blu-ray and DVD
Microsoft has finally solved some annoying mistakes in Windows 11 that have been circling for a long time, but the disadvantage is that a fresh failure has just appeared in the desk operating system.
Let’s start with the good news, which is that the computer that the computer saw is that Microsoft has crushed two annoying mistakes. One of them relates to the cameras, and actually dates back to October 2024, which means that the affected PCs have been blocked to obtain the 24H2 update since then.
This was a problem with the web cameras that use face detection functions, which includes login through facial recognition with Windows Hello. Microsoft has just resolved the error, which means that the Windows 11 PCs with these cameras can now download the 24H2 update.
Microsoft has also solved a long -standing error that completely broke the Bluetooth audio for some Windows 11 users, which also dates back to the end of last year. Again, that was a problem with the 24h2 version, and those affected can only install that update.
However, the concern here is that Ghacks noticed Microsoft’s confirmation of a new error in Windows 11 for which Blu-ray and DVD applications (as well as digital TV software) may not be able to reproduce protected content (with DRM).
This defect was introduced into the September update for Windows 11 (and the preview of that update that arrived at the end of August).
Microsoft explains that this Gremlin has pressed applications that use the improved video rendering, and those affected can see that reproduction fails with an error message or a black screen, or they can experience “frequent reproduction interruptions” that sounds less than ideal.
The software giant says it is working to provide a solution, which will be overcome in a future Windows 11 update.
Analysis: Corrections for update to 24h2 only slide before the arrival of 25h2
Hopefully the solution for the problem of reproducing DVD or Blu-Rays in Windows 11 will not take Microsoft a year to solve. To be fair, such delays are not normally the case, but it takes too long to fix web and bluetooth errors that have prevented people from obtaining the 24h2 update.
In fact, those who are only receiving access to the 24H2 version barely have the opportunity to take it before the 25h2 update arrives (which is probably imminent, could even appear next week).
The 25H2 update is a little exciting issue, with the most prominent is a rejig of the start menu that is a good job, but that is also reaching those who remain in 24h2; In fact, in some cases, these users can obtain it to users in 25h2, depending on how deployment dice falls.
