Cancer patients in Rawalpindi to receive free treatment at Holy Family Hospital

Rawalpindi:

After a successful treatment at the Mayo de Lahore hospital, Rawalpindi residents will soon benefit from a free and avant -garde treatment for cancers that threaten life, with the installation of a avant -garde crying machine in the largest medical installation of the city, Sacred Family Hospital (HFH).

In compliance with the directives of the Department of Health of Punjab, the Hospital Administration has already submitted a formal application for the team.

According to the reports, after the successful treatment of five patients in May Hospital Lahore using the first cryoablation machine, destined from China on the instructions of the Punjab Prime Minister, Maryam Nawaz, the provincial government has resolved to extend this installation to the main hospitals of the division headquarters throughout the province.

Consequently, the Provincial Health Department has requested HFH, Rawalpindi, which formally requests the installation of the machine.

HFH’s medical superintendent, Dr. Ejaz Butt, declared that the application has been properly sent to the Department of Health. After delivery, the machine will be installed in the Hospital Radiology Department, where the space has already been reserved.

“We possess both technical and highly qualified doctors necessary to operate the cryo -labing machine. Our goal is to ensure that it is fully functional within a year, which allows us to start the treatment of free cancer without delay,” said Dr. Butt.

The cryoablation machine is particularly effective for cancers where surgery is unnecessary. It is able to treat kidney tumors, lungs, breasts, liver, bladder and several other parts of the human body with remarkable precision.

Dr. Butt also explained that once the machine becomes operational in HFH, cancer patients will be formally registered and treated according to a structured schedule.

He stressed that the provincial executive director has shown an exceptional forecast in acquiring these advanced machines from China, which allows cancer patients through Punjab to access a treatment to save lives free of charge.
