Islamabad:
The Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) is expected to convene a meeting to review the complaints filed against the judges of the Superior Judiciary, Fuentes said.
The meeting is likely to be held in mid -October under the presidency of the president of the Supreme Court Yahya Afridi. The president of the Superior Court of Islamabad, Sarfraz Dogar, has been included as a member of the SJC.
The SJC is a judicial body of the superior judiciary, trained under article 209 of the Constitution, to listen to cases of misconduct against the judges.
In a recent observation, the Apex court said that only the SJC can investigate accusations of misconduct against judges.
