NYT Strands Today (game #571) – The answers
The responses to today’s threads, game #571, are …
- HERALD
- MESSENGER
- ARCHANGEL
- GUARDIAN
- SERAPH
- Spangram: sky
- My qualification: Hard
- My score: 1 track
After collecting six words not games and having no idea what the concept could be based on today’s track, I needed a clue to start, but even with that I made a very slow progress.
It was only when I said the words “Hark The Herald Angels Sing” for myself that I finally realized what this particular search was.
In addition to the list of intelligent Spangans, today’s effort sat at the top of the board as a halo. Seraph was a new word for me and, fortunately, it was the last one, and one that I took advantage of without knowing its classification in the angelic hierarchy.
