Chicago’s rookie, Matt Shaw, let his bat speak on Wednesday after facing the criticisms of the New York Mets speakers for attending Charlie Kirk’s commemorative service.
Shaw had 3 of 4 with a solo home run and scored three times in Chicago’s 10-3 defeat in New York. He helped put the Mets in a dangerous position in the classification of Commodines of the National League as well. New York only has an advantage of a game over the Cincinnati Reds for the last place with only four remaining games in the regular season.

The third base did not seem to talk to journalists after the game. The confrontation of the Cubs-Mets was transmitted in ESPN, which meant that Gary Cohen and Todd Zeile, who work for SNY, had the free night.
Cohen called Shaw’s decision to leave the team to attend Kirk’s funeral at the State Farm stadium in Glendale, Arizona, on Sunday “strange.”
“I don’t want to talk about any of the policies, but the idea of leaving your team in the middle of a race for any reason other than a family emergency, it really seems strange to me,” Cohen said.
The Mets station, Todd Zeile, described the absence of Shaw “unprecedented.”
“It is unusual, I think it is not preceded at least of my experience as a player, and I think it made it a little more unusual that it was not revealed until after it was issued because it was thought that I was on the bench and perhaps available, and it was not, and that was how it was revealed,” Zeile said.

New York Blast Mets radio hosts about the comments on the puppies who attend the Charlie Kirk’s memorial service
Shaw and Kirk were friends and the 31 -year -old conservative influencer, who was killed at an event at the University of Utah Valley earlier this month, was a fan of puppies.
Shaw explained on Tuesday why he set out to attend the monument despite his team’s schedule.
“My connection with Charlie was through our [Christian] Faith, “Shaw said before the puppies opened a new series with the New York Mets on Tuesday, according to Chicago Sun-Times.” And that is something that drives me every day, the reason I can do what I do every day, and that is something I am extremely grateful.
“I know without my faith and without the many blessings that have given me in my life, that I would not be here, to be able to talk to you, capable of helping this team eventually go and win championships.
“That is something I really feel, very blessed, so any violent reaction is fine. I feel strong with my faith and what was destined to happen.”
