Cincinnati Reds and Pittsburgh pirates gathered in the second team of each team on Thursday.
The Reds entered the game for the Milwaukee brewery and the Chicago puppies, two teams that have already secured Playoffs, in the central classification of the National League. The pirates have been eliminated for a long time from the postseason dispute, but the hopes of playoffs of the reds remain alive.
The defeat of a Red on Thursday could have been a devastating blow for the postemporada hopes of the team. The third base of the Reds, Noelvi Mars, made its share to prevent that from happening.

The right gardener of the pirates, Bryan Reynolds, seemed to reach a home run that tied in the ninth entrance, but Mars dragged a capture worthy of a prominent reel to record the final of the game.
Cincinnati was in danger of a three -game sweep, but the capture of Mars and his simple RBI in the fifth entrance helped the Reds avoid that misfortune. Gardener Gavin Lux led the second race of the Reds later at the same entrance.

“That was a great series of baseball,” said the pirates manager, Don Kelly. “Well played on both sides: the defensive effort, the launch effort, offensively, finding ways to get. Bryan should have done it, I could have tied that, Mars withdraws … That was an atmosphere of playoffs, and I thought we responded very, very well.”

Next, the Reds will meet with the brewers from Friday for a series of three games. The 96 victories of the brewers represent most of the victories in MLB this season.
The pirates begin their last series of the regular season of 2025 on Friday in Atlanta against the Braves.
