- The Xiaomi 17 series has been revealed, with the professional models that have two screens
- The Xiaomi 17 Pro Max has a massive battery of 7,500 mAh
- The three phones have a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset
Hot after its Xiaomi 15t 15t Pro and 15T Pro launch, Xiaomi has just announced its new flagships in the form of the Xiaomi 17 series, and these phones have many striking specifications.
The Xiaomi 17 Pro Max is the best model, and the most interesting, with this and the Xiaomi 17 Pro with a second screen on the back, which looks a bit like a smaller version of the cover screen at the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7.
This second screen can be used to frame selfies taken with the rear cameras, visualize application widgets and even play games, if combined with an official case similar to a child.
In the case of Xiaomi 17 Pro Max, this is a 2.9 -inch screen, while the Xiaomi 17 Pro has a 2.7 -inch, and both have an update rate of 120 Hz.
As for its main screens, the Xiaomi 17 Pro has one of 6.3 inches and the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max has one of 6.9 inches, and both again have an update rate of 120 Hz.
Massive batteries and high -end chips sets
However, another prominent point of these phones is their battery capabilities, with the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max that has a capacity of 7,500 MAH Ridicle, and the Xiaomi 17 PRO has a 6,300 mAh battery. As a comparison, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra has only a 5,000 mAh battery and the iPhone 17 Pro Max have one of 5,088 mAh (or 4,832 mAh outside the United States).
Both phones charge 100W, or 50W if they use wireless load, and both have a Snapdragon 8 Elite 5 chipset, which is the new flaw of Qualcomm, and should make these phones more powerful than any Android phone currently available.
They also have a 50MP cameras trio on the back, including large teleobjective options, ultra width and 5x, along with a 50MP camera in the front. In addition, there are up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of storage on both phones.
The Xiaomi 17 base is a little less interesting, since it does not have a second screen, but it still obtains a main screen of 6.3 inches, a 50MP triple lens camera, a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and a huge 7,000 mAh battery.
These phones are only launched in China, but we would expect one or more of them to terrify in Europe at the beginning of next year, although it is very unlikely that a launch in the United States, since Xiaomi does not have much presence there.
